It is a dream of many Indian students to continue further education in Maharashtra. Apart from the Maharashtra government, there are also many private bodies who are also engaged in providing scholarship to students. Some are awarded to the top scholar students, while some are particularly reserved for the economically backward sections and scholar students from under privileged economic background.
The top most scholarship offered by the Maharashtra Government is Post Matric Scholarship for Minority Communities Students. There are some conditions that one will have to follow and they are:
☼ The maximum age restriction: It is 35 years old.
☼ The applicant for the scholarship will have to achieve 60% in 12th standard and a minimum of 55% marks in graduation.
☼ Make sure that the annual income of your family does not exceed the benchmark level of 2.5 lacs per annum.
Sometimes, getting scholarship is really frustrating for the students as this is a time consuming affair. The whole phenomenon is pretty challenging and will increase the students’ zeal to achieve the scholarship. Many of the scholarship demand voluntary refund of 10% of the amount given to the candidate after the completion of the course.
There is no such form format of the scholarship available. It is better to collect a form from the govt. office, fill it up and apply for the scholarship. The application will have to be submitted in the office of the Director of Social Welfare.
